Clock Solitaire
How to Play Clock Solitaire and Beat the Odds
Ready to give Clock Solitaire a whirl? This solo card game uses a standard deck of 52 and sets up like a clock face, making it a fun, luck-driven challenge. Start by shuffling the deck and dealing all 52 cards face-down into 13 piles of four cards each. Arrange 12 piles in a circle, mimicking the numbers 1 through 12 on a clock, and pop the 13th pile smack in the middle for the Kings.
Here’s how it goes: flip the top card from the center pile and slide it face-up under its matching pile, like a 5 under the 5 o’clock spot, or a Queen under 12. Aces go to 1, Jacks to 11, and Kings stay in the center. Then, flip the top card from that pile and keep going, placing each card where it belongs. You win if every card’s face-up in its right spot before the fourth King shows up, but if that last King pops out early, game over. It’s a total luck-fest with a 1-in-13 shot at glory, perfect for a quick, no-pressure break. Think you can clock in a win?
