Eight Off Solitaire
How to Ace Eight Off Solitaire with Ease
Ready to tackle Eight Off Solitaire? This solo card game uses a standard deck of 52 and gives you a little more wiggle room than most. You start by dealing eight tableau piles with six cards each, all face-up, then set aside four cards face-up into four of your eight reserve cells, leaving the last four cells empty. The remaining four cards kick off your foundation piles if they’re Aces, or they join the tableau if not—your goal is to build those foundations up by suit from Ace to King.
Here’s how it goes: move any tableau card to a foundation if it fits, or stack it on another tableau card in the same suit, one rank lower, like a 6 of Hearts on a 7 of Hearts. Got an empty cell? Pop any card in there from the tableau to free up moves, but you can only shift one card at a time. If a tableau pile clears out, only a King can fill it. It’s a chill, strategic game that’s great for unwinding while still keeping your brain in gear. Think you can smooth-talk all 52 cards into those foundations?
