How to Swing a Win in Golf Solitaire
Ready to tee off with Golf Solitaire? This solo card game uses a standard deck of 52 and plays like a quick, satisfying round on the greens. You deal 35 cards face-up into seven tableau piles, five cards each, overlapping so only the top cards show. The remaining 17 cards form your stock pile, with the top card flipped face-up as your starting waste pile. The goal is to clear all the tableau cards by stacking them onto the waste pile, no foundations needed.
Here’s the play: take the top tableau card and add it to the waste pile if it’s one rank higher or lower than the waste card, suit doesn’t matter, like a 7 on a 6 or 8. Flip a new card from the stock when you’re stuck, and keep going until you’ve cleared the tableau or run out of moves. It’s a fast, luck-driven game where you’re aiming for a “par” by clearing all seven piles in as few stock flips as possible. Perfect for a casual brain break, can you score a hole-in-one and clear the course?
